- 1¼ C All-Purpose Flour
- ¼ C Sugar
- 2 t Baking Powder
- ½ t Salt
- 1 C Milk
- 1 Egg Beaten
- ¼ Vegetable Oil or Drippings
- Pre-heat oven to 400° 
- Grease 9" Pan 
- Mix all dry ingredients into a bowl 
- Stir in all wet ingredients 
- Pour into greased pan 
- Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
